The multiple Grandma visit 2/19/06

Otto's Grandma Janet and Great Grandma Jean came up from Santa Barbara for a visit.

We all went over to the "Can't Fail Cafe" in Emeryville and had some dinner. Otto looks like an elf. He flirted with a pink haired waitress and many of the customers. Otto also has developed a taste for hardcore alternative rock music. Which was playing at a high volume. He banged his head on the table repeatedly to it. I had to move his chair for fear he would knock himself out. That guy, already a rocker...

And how about that early Birth Day present?! Otto went nuts for the cool ride that his Grandma Janet gave him. He already rides it and bites the handle bars while saying: "Bbbrummmmmmmmmmm!"

Bath time for Bonzo 2/21/06

It's time for a bath. We give him one once in awhile.

Otto's first drawing!

Otto recieved some crayons and a kid's menu when we went out to dinner at Saul's in Berkeley last Friday. Usually when this happens, I kind of laugh and push it all to the side. Otto always wads up the paper and throws the other stuff around. But he was about to turn eleven months... and, well, what the hey... So he actually did a small drawing! A little encouragement and presto! David and I did have to take the crayon away after he lost interest in drawing and decided to eat it instead.

Otto at Totland

We all went to Totland today. Tara and Otto had been there once before earlier this week. It's a playground in Berkeley that has tons of old toys people have left, along with the usual playground equipment.

Swings at Aquatic Park

David found this great new kids park over at Aquatic Park. Otto loved the swing. When he gets bigger he can utilize the awsome slides and play structures there. Kids can watch boats and frizbee golf as they play.

Gallery Trip

Tara and Otto wave to the camera with a couple of Salties from the Fabulandia: Fauna Show.

Otto was not pleased with his ill-suited high chair. It was entirely too short for his taste. We all went out for a light dinner after documenting Tara's show in San Francisco. Otto had yogurt.
